HAYWARD, Calif. -- BART officials this morning are reminding riders there will be no trains running between the South Hayward, Union City and Fremont stations during the three-day holiday weekend.

The closure of the tracks is due to repairs and maintenance and is expected to go through today, Sunday and Monday.

There will be free bus bridges established to shuttle passengers between those stations.

BART officials said riders should expect delays in both directions.

Normal train service is expected to resume on Tuesday.
