Preliminary 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Alamo in East Bay, USGS says

ALAMO, Calif. (KGO) -- An earthquake with 3.4 magnitude struck Alamo Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 7:44 a.m. and was measured at a depth of about 6 miles.

No injuries have been reported.
