UIC student allegedly raped woman while recreating 'Fifty Shades of Grey' scenes

CHICAGO -- A University of Illinois - Chicago student has been charged after he allegedly raped another student while acting out scenes from the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey."

Prosecutors say 19-year-old Mohammad Hossain brought a female student to his dorm room, where he blindfolded her, then bound and gagged her before beating her with a belt and sexually assaulting her.

Authorities said Hossain confessed to police he was recreating scenes from "Fifty Shades of Grey."
