OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Three reptiles you probably wouldn't want to run into in the wild have a new home at the Oakland Zoo.

The Amazon tree boas were smuggled out of South America and confiscated at the Port of Miami.

The snakes, which were found in very poor health, received treatment for several months at the zoo's veterinary hospital.

They're now healthy enough to be put in a new habitat at the zoo.
