How SF's Gender Institute is pioneering transgender surgery

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- For decades San Francisco's St. Francis Memorial Hospital has been forging the path for gender-affirming surgery, drawing patients from around the world.

In 2016, it formalized the Gender Institute.
