Pacifica cliff rescue takes hours to save woman

PACIFICA, Calif. (KGO) -- A woman is in the hospital after falling off a cliff in Pacifica Saturday. It happened around 5:30 p.m. near Palmetto Avenue and Westline Drive.

The rescue took nearly three hours. Crews had to drop down 200 feet to reach the woman.

Neighbors tell us she was climbing around a secret waterfall and got into trouble.

The woman has moderate injuries.
