Giants, Royals fans pour into Kauffman Stadium for Game 2
Giants and Royals fans poured into Kauffman stadium for Game 2 in Kansas City, Mo.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The crowd in Kansas City Wednesday seemed a little more subdued.

Royals fans waited 29 years for a World Series and the Giants gave them just a few more than 29 seconds to enjoy game one Tuesday night.

Fans remained proud of their team and park and were hoping for a reprieve Wednesday.

Fans like Stephen Fielbach, who sculpted who sculpted a Styrofoam gnome four months ago as a Royals good luck charm.

"I've done art my whole life. I live in that world," Fielbach said.

The gnome is 10 feet tall and weighs roughly 100 pounds, and it has become a magnet even to San Francisco fans in Kansas City.

Here's a look at the World Series schedule:

Game 1 and 2 are in Kansas City. The series returns to San Francisco for Games 3 and 4, Friday and Saturday. AT&T Park will also host Game 5, if necessary, on Sunday. If the series continues, the teams go back to Kansas City for Game 6 on Tuesday, October 28, and Game 7 on Wednesday, October 29. All games start at 5:07 p.m.
