That's according to Money Magazine's list of America's 100 best places to live. Pleasanton ranked 63rd.
With a population of just under 70,000, it was the only Bay Area city to receive the recognition. The cities were judged on everything from the strength of its schools to safety to recreational activities.
Eden Prairie, Minnesota topped the Money Magazine list. Mostly because of its low unemployment rate and abundant recreational opportunities.
