Schwarzenegger, a Republican, says his 18-year-old daughter Katherine, a first-time voter, is also supporting the Illinois senator and wore an Obama T-shirt on Tuesday morning.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver voted Tuesday at Kenter Canyon Elementary School in Brentwood.
The governor is a supporter of Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
He says the difference in candidate loyalty hasn't led to any family discord.
