BERKELEY, CA --
A five-foot deep sinkhole caused by a water main break has shut down part of Tunnel Road in Berkeley Wednesday morning. The westbound lanes of tunnel are closed right now from Highway-13. The intersection of Vicente and Tunnel is also closed.
Crews from Caltrans and East Bay MUD are working to get it fixed, but the closure may last until this afternoon.
Highway 13 is still open to eastbound traffic.
