NASA, Google team up to launch tech university

A unique university is coming to the Bay Area this summer. It's called Singularity University, and the mission is to solve the world's biggest problems.

The school will be located on the NASA Ames base near Mountain View.

It hopes to attract students interested in nanotechnology, biotechnology and information technology.

Nobel prize-winning scientists teamed up with NASA engineers and executives from companies like Google to develop the new university.

Details are being announced at a tech conference in Long Beach.
