Tourists destroying Egyptian tombs

People planning to visit the tombs of the pharaohs in Egypt better schedule their trip soon.

Egypt's head of antiquities says that the tombs are doomed to disappear in 150-500 years if they remain open to tourists.

Zahi Hawass says that the breath of tourists is causing humidity and fungus, which is eating into the walls of the tombs.

Hawass says some tombs will have to close and be replaced by replicas.

The Valley of the Kings is home to some of Egypt's most famous pharaohs, including King Tut.
