Someone broke into the junction box to the food bank's solar panels and stole three feet of copper wire.
The wire will get the thieves a few bucks, but it will cost the food bank more than $1,000 to replace because they will have to rewire from the box to the solar panels.
They will also have to build a cage around the box to make sure it does not happen again.
