A lot of parents worry about protecting their kids' privacy on Facebook, but it turns out older users of social networking sites are much more likely to make themselves vulnerable to identity theft.

The credit-reporting company Experian studied more 1,000 social network users age 45 and up.

About 15 percent of them over share -- posting details such as their full address.

Users 45 and older are also less likely to adjust their privacy settings to control who sees their profiles.
