About Mammoth Mountain:
Here are some interesting facts about Mammoth Mountain. Some people come for its 150 trails, others to enjoy its 3,100 feet of vertical. A few show-up with their sights set on exploring the 3,500 acres of terrain. And the size-matters crowd shows up because Mammoth is the tallest ski resort in California, with a peak elevation of 11,053 feet. Typically, this area receives more than 400" of annual snowfall and more than 300 days of sunshine. Mammoth Mountain's ski season typically runs from November until June and now, for the first time ever, you can catch a direct flight from the Bay Area to Mammoth Lakes.
