Don't fall for fake Amazon e-mails

If you get an e-mail that says, "Thank you for your order," watch out. E-mails, appearing to come from with that subject line are part of a huge scam.

The e-mail lists an order in an attempt to get consumers to try and put a stop to it.

The e-mail says if the order is wrong, follow this link. If you go along with the scheme, it asks for personal information. Don't fall for it.

If you are concerned you could be on the hook, contact Amazon directly through its website.
