Alameda County prosecutors have decided not to file charges against two Oakland police officers who shot and killed an unarmed father last year, according to ABC7 media partner, the Oakland Tribune.

Derrick Jones was shot and killed on Nov. 8 as he ran from police that were responding to a domestic dispute call.

Officers say they opened fire as Jones repeatedly reached into his waistband. It turned out he was reaching for a small silver scale.
