A front loader had to be called in to pick up 10 to 12 tons of roofing materials and household items dumped on Donner Avenue in the city's Bayview neighborhood. Officials say the area is a common spot for illegal dumping, which is not only an eye sore, but also a health hazard and expensive to clean up.
Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department or Public Works.
