Principal Phil Lind says they are still trying to figure out what caused more than 30 kindergartners to break out in a rash that looked like bug bites.
"I have not seen anything like this. I have never heard of anything like this. It took us by surprise," said Lind. "We had to act decisively to get the children out of the classrooms and into a safe environment."
The classrooms and yard equipment have been disinfected and testing is being done to determine the source. The results are expected in about a week.
All the students are now back at school in temporary classrooms.
