Brady started being tutored by Martinez when the future pro was 12-years-old. Brady had worked to find a kidney donor for him, but Martinez suffered a heart attack while undergoing kidney dialysis Tuesday -- on his 66th birthday.
Martinez was considered one of California's most successful community college football coaches during his tenure at the College of San Mateo.
