Study: Teens average 60 texts a day

For teens, it appears long phone conversations are out and texts are in.

A Pew study finds that the average teenager now sends sixty messages per day - that's about ten more than they did a few years ago. Girls send twice as many as boys and the number hasn't actually changed for white kids. Pew found the increase is in blacks and Hispanics. In total, three out of four teens overall now text.
