The victim was found unconscious and not breathing in the 1500 block of Lakeside Drive after police received a call at approximately 6:10 a.m., Officer J. Moore said. The woman had suffered major head trauma.
Police said they have detained one suspect Tuesday morning.
An update on the woman's condition was not immediately available.
