The gymnast told the talk show host that she was the target of racist bullying at the Virginia gym where she trained until two years ago. Douglas said other girls called her a "slave" and suggested she "scrape the bar."
A male gymnast who also trained at the gym fired back and said the accusations were a lie.
Douglas left the gym at age 14 to intensify her training in Iowa.
