San Francisco supe proposes getting rid of nonsense laws

SAN FRANCISCO

Tuesday, Supervisor Mark Farrell proposed getting rid of that law and others that don't make sense. He wants residents to look over city codes and suggest changes.

"What we hope to do is not only find other laws that are just glaring faults, that people haven't looked at or have the time to look at, since there are volumes and volumes of laws here in San Francisco, but also comments in more substantive issues," said Farrell.

Farrell is also offering $1,000 scholarships for students who come up with good ideas for new laws.
