McCain criticizes SJ museum on Twitter

Senator John McCain is singling out a museum in San Jose as one of the top ten pieces of pork in a congressional spending bill.

He is targeting the Japanese-American Museum which would receive $230,000 under an earmark submitted by Congressman Mike Honda and Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren.

McCain is using Twitter to go after pork in this year's $410 billion budget bill.

There are 9,000 earmarks totaling $8 billion in this year's proposed budget.

Honda and Lofgren are defending their request.
