Teens arrested for rock throwing vandalism spree

LIVERMORE, Calif.

The vandalisms occurred in the areas of Arlene Way, Charlotte Way, Felicia Way and Almond Avenue between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday, police said.

In one instance, a large rock traveled through a home window and struck a wall next to a child's crib, police said.

No one was injured during the attacks, police said.

After investigating, police connected five juvenile males with 21 vandalisms reported that day and arrested them Friday.

Police said that the rocks were thrown from a 2002 Subaru Forrester, which the suspects drove through the neighborhood at high speed, throwing the rocks from the car.

The suspects told police that they did not realize they could have hurt anyone and were remorseful, police said.
