1,200 acre Tassajara Fire in Monterey County 10 percent contained

A wildfire that has burned 1,200 acres in unincorporated Monterey County north of the community of Jamesburg is 10 percent contained, Cal Fire officials said Saturday evening.

The officials reported the Tassajara Fire at 5:35 p.m. on Twitter. Firefighters reached 5 percent containment at about 7:40 p.m., the officials said.
