Evacuation orders lifted in San Jose after Flood Warning
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Flooding concerns around the Guadalupe River and Ross Creek in San Jose led to an evacuation order for hundreds of homes.
The evacuation order was lifted at 7 a.m.
Police officers were going door to door, warning people Ross Creek near Cherry Avenue was on the rise and the banks may not hold all the water.

"We're probably going to prepare and get everything ready to go at a moment's notice. Yeah, it's not looking like I'm going to get any work done today," said
San Jose resident, Jason Duley.
At around the same time, an evacuation order alert was sent out to residents in about 800 homes along the Guadalupe River area from Willow Glen Way to Atlanta Avenue.
"I got a text at about 4:30 this morning said we needed to evacuate. About 14 years ago, it did bring it up to the house and did do some damage so kind of worried about it," said
No flooding was reported.
A City of San Jose spokesperson says they'll still be monitoring the weather and is asking residents to do the same.
