Parents on Long Island welcome son on Christmas - again

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Meet newborn Nicholas Faster. He is a Christmas baby -- just like his proud older brother, Anthony Faster.

Anthony is 2, and parents Karyn and Vic Faster, of Floral Park, have proven that they really know how to celebrate Dec. 25.

The littlest Faster came into the world about five days late on Friday at the LIJ Medical Center, Katz Women's Hospital; his parents believe that he was simply waiting to make his entrance on the best possible day.

He is 10 pounds, 3 ounces.

When the Fasters celebrated the birth of their first son, Anthony, two years ago, dad Vic took it as a wonderful sign.

For this family in the future, December will always be a big month: Dad Vic Faster's birthday is Dec. 19.
